via io9:
I'm working on a paper but I had to share this pic of Six and Starbuck on Harleys taking a romantic drive through California wine country:

on Tricia Helfer's blog.
apparently it's Lesbian Fan Appreciation Day in BSG fandom.

But really, don't get me wrong. I actually love what I am doing, I am so much saner, and I don't miss academe AT ALL. It's not the work or industry, it's just my current location within that that's the problem. I just need to get a job in a lead position in a smaller design or consulting firm, which I think I can jump to shortly, for a better fit with the kind of design work I want to do.

I finally built up enough courage to actually comment (I've been intimidated by your awesomeness), and I have to say that your entries are fantastic. Would you mind terribly if I friended you?
