stating the obvious

Monique Bartok has posted another beautiful Alex/Olivia fic, Non me lo so spiegare. rated R, so beware. This link goes to her fiction page on Anik LaChev's site and you'll have to click on from there. I've gushed before about Ms. Bartok's elegant style and characterization and this fic is no exception. There's something so sad and haunted about her voice and it's perfect for these star-crossed lovers. One warning, The alternate POV is a bit disorienting (and more than a little awkward), but the person's identity is revealed in time.

It's hard to articulate what makes her fic resonate the way it does with me (beyond the skilled and artful writing, of course), but I'd have to go with the fact that the Alex and Olivia Ms. Bartok describes so eloquently are exactly the Alex and Olivia I carry around in my mind.
