Apparently, I have to do this every few months:

Every post on this site, which means every rec I've made, is MY OPINION. I'm not a critic or a professor. I switched my English major to Art sophomore year. I am in no way qualified to write critical commentary about anything literary.

So, here's the deal: I rec the fic I like and/or love. That simple. The hope is, if you like the fic I like, you'll be able to search through my recs and find more femslashy goodness to read, squee over, and praise. And my special not-so-secret wish is that you'll share you own wonderfulsexy femslash fic loves with the rest of the class (meaning me:). If you don't like my recs, feel free to move on, or better yet, start your own rec list. The femslash community needs all the pimps it can get.

I feel compelled to update since I had a deadline from you and Ralst: I totally stalled out on writing that Sassy fic I was supposed to write this week (writing Sofia is hard/whine), but I did get a few pages of some other fic written today when I should have been grading.

I don't get some people. I mean recommendations, by their very nature are based on someone's personal opinion, be they on lj or national television, it still comes down to the likes and dislikes of the individual.

Personally I love your recs, even if I know some of them wouldn't be to my taste, so never stop!

just a couple of idiots. and I can't really blame them. I'm pretty sure they just want to be recced. I don't know why. It's not like it means anything in the grand scheme of things. I'm thinking about doing a general femslashy links section so no one is left out...or something. Because god knows, some of the most popular fic out there is not my bag and that's prolly not fair.

Thanks for the icon love! And your recs. Seriously, if it's not your bag & you don't enjoy it, you shouldn't rec it. If we all endorsed and mindlessly praised everything we read, recommendations would have very little meaning or merit for anyone.

But putting together a general list of femslash sites would be a nifty (albeit time consuming) idea.
